Here we are using a floor buffer to get an even application of a white oil-based stain.

This picture shows reclaimed pine being patched into the existing Victorian pine floorboards. The floor was then sanded and stained a dark colour to match the rest of the house.

These steps have been made out of tongue and groove oak flooring that was installed in the rest of the property. This ensures a good match after they have been sanded, stained and oiled.

A view of the stairs before and after cladding in oak. The original pine staircase had the carpet removed and unfinished oak boards fitted over the top. We formed the nosings using a router.

Reclaimed Pine Boards replace a concrete hearth - once the chimney has been blocked the ugly concrete hearth is redundant. The concrete is removed, a joist is added and reclaimed pines boards are fitted.

Once the parquet floor in this school had been sanded, line marking took place following the headmistrisses design instructions. The floor could then be sealed with BonaKemi Traffic lacquer.

Engineered Oak planks installed over underfloor heating. After we had liased with the heating company, we removed the original pine boards and installed insulation under the heating trays.
